If they ever build the Culture, I want Contact. Until then: in and around early-stage tech on both sides of the Pacific, helping where I can, scouting, connecting, occasionally diving in or leaving breadcrumbs. Pick a macro, focus on a micro: Western and Asian tech, US and Korea. My interest is in humans enabled by computers.

Based in the US, involved in Seoul, ties everywhere else. The view is better from the seam between worlds. Pulling from many domains is an existential need. Life is short, living intentionally is a craft.

I write here when an idea is reasonably coherent and has survived enough conversations to deserve a permanent version. Also: recce by fire. Put it out, see who disagrees, find out where they're standing.
